The Gideon Commission

Judges 6: 11-16
In these last days, God is raising up evangelists and teachers to proclaim the fullness of His truth as revealed through the apostle Paul. They are the true 'elders' and 'anointed ones' wherever God has placed them. They are generally ignored by Christendom or persecuted in one form or another. They are the true spiritual warriors who understand their place in God's plan, under their Master, Christ Jesus. They are called from all walks of life and from the most unlikely places; some of them 'educated' but most not officially educated via Bible College or Seminary.
Some are called to work within 'the Church' (or more correctly termed Christendom), but most are outside 'the Fold', having fellowship and sharing the Word with whoever calls on the Name of the Lord with a clean heart and unfeigned faith, seeking to walk in love and righteousness. They only recognise the One Body, which is invisible and universal.
They are the ones who will rout the Enemy in these dark days through the proclamation of the truth.
