Universal Reconciliation Sites in the UK

As I live in the UK, I thought it would be good to list some UK UR sites here, as the majority are usually based in North America. Other sites are listed below.

The Prophetic Telegraph - Arthur and Rosalind Eedle

Bible Studies for Growth in God - Robert Beecham

Christianworld Church

God of the Ages - David and Zoë Sulem

Not Just Notes - Tony Idemudia Asakpa

Here are some various sites worth checking out. These are sites that I have found very helpful in one way or another, enough for me to support them with a link here, while others hold to similar beliefs as myself in some respects. The list is quite selective, but some of these sites have pages supplying numerous links to many other good sites and various resources. I've added some thoughts and comments where appropriate.

Of course, I do not adhere to everything taught on these sites, and there is a mixture of various doctrinal viewpoints (e.g. some teach Universal Reconciliation, while others teach Eternal Hell). So I leave it up to you, the 'searcher,' to discern for yourself as to what you accept as truth. Hopefully, there's a broad spectrum of material here on a variety of subjects to cause one to think bigger!

The Riddleblog - Dr Kim Riddlebarger. Some good resources from the Reformed Covenant Theology perspective, with a focus on Eschatology (Last Days). I would agree with a large portion of Kim's teaching. I would recommend his book A Case For Amillennialism: Understanding the End Times. I would also recommend the book that Riddlebarger often quotes from - The Bible and the Future by the late Anthony Hoekema.

Answers In Creation - This excellent site considers the alternative views of Creationists that the earth is old and Noah's Flood was local, not global. It has given me much to think about, as I used to accept the Young Earth/Global Flood scenarios of the Answers in Genesis ministries and their affiliates almost without question (links below)! I've also heard some worrying news that there have been incidents of fraud and deception amongst some of those within the AiG group, along with the fact that some of their material is considered as pseudo-science by many! (I am indebted to Ray Smith of Bible Truths.com for opening this 'Pandora's Box' for me!)

Evidence For God - Another good Old Earth Creation site

Metro Ministries - The incredible work of Bill Wilson amongst the poor children of New York and the world.

Stephen Sizer - I recently came across Stephen's site in March 2008. He is becoming well known for his strong stance against Christian Zionism and the system of Dispensationalism. I was excited to discover that my own findings and beliefs in recent years, and my eventual rejection of Dispensationalism, reflected in my revised writings, were confirmed by what I read in Stephen's articles. My views are very much in accord with Stephen's teaching. I would highly recommend his book Zion's Christian Soldiers? The Bible, Israel and the Church.

Release International: The Voice of the Persecuted Church - A UK based Christian charity that supports persecuted Christians from around the world. One of the main acts of monetary giving in the Early Church was supporting fellow believers in genuine need, particularly due to persecution.

Jews Not Zionists - This site contains some very sobering material and documentation in relation to the founding of the modern State of Israel, some of which is extremely horrifying. Many religious Jews can see that the violent, terrorist tactics of the founders of the modern state of Israel are wicked and lawless, and they also recognise that the Jewish race is in exile for her sins. Yet, in contrast to this, numerous Christian Zionists show full support for Israel in complete contradiction of Jesus' teaching and the laws of God!

Associates for Scriptural Knowledge  - The writings of Ernest L. Martin and David Sielaff

Martin Zender - A very humorous, no-messing approach to life and faith (though I have to say that some things may be considered going a little too far, into mockery - you decide). Affiliated to the Concordant Publishing Concern, with ultra-Dispensational views.

The Concordant Publishing Concern - Publishers of the Concordant Literal New Testament. Though I was greatly influenced by the teachings of A. E. Knoch and the CPC for a time, and I still greatly respect Knoch's work, I no longer accept their 'Ultra-Dispensational' views, though, which places a division between Paul's ministry and the Twelve Apostles.

Answers In Genesis Ministries - This site focuses on the issues of Creation and Evolution from a Young Earth perspective.

Creation Ministries International - As above (previously AiG). Publishers of Creation magazine.

Saviour of All Fellowship - Affiliated to the Concordant Publishing Concern, run by Tony Nungesser

Grace Universal - Bob Cope

Temple Mount Website - For those of you who are interested in the subject of the Temples in Jerusalem and Temple Mount archaeology, this site has a wealth of information and facts concerning these things. (This site also has many articles relating to the Christian Dispensational/Jewish belief in the rebuilding of the Third Temple. I do not advocate these beliefs anymore).

Tentmaker Ministries - Gary Amirault

Hell is Not Endless! - This site reveals the powerful testimony of God's mercy and grace, and the dangers of believing in 'eternal torment'!

God's Kingdom Ministries - Stephen E. Jones (see below)

Bible Child - This is the site of Samuel Martin, the son of the late Dr Ernest L. Martin. A copy of his book Thy Rod and Thy Staff They Comfort Me, which he sent me, is available to download in PDF format HERE. It concerns the debate on whether smacking children is right from a Biblical perspective. It is very illuminating.

Gospel for Today Ministries

Charles and Paula Slagle

Is, Was and Will Be - Mike Vinson

Exposing Those Who Contradict - L. Ray Smith (Bible Truths.com)

Flavius Josephus - The writings of the first century historian, Josephus

God's Golden Knight - Mark Farquharson

Noble Chit Chat

The Truth About The Faith Healers - A MUST READ!

Benny Hinn: Healer or Hypnotist?

Focus on Hinn and Bonnke

Today's "Miracles" and Lying Wonders

Benny Hinn: Fake Healer!

A Short History of Universal Reconciliation by Dr Stephen E. Jones - An excellent place to start for those who wish to know the truth about what the majority of the early Christians really believed....and it wasn't the doctrine of Eternal Torment in Hell! This will help to dispel the lie that 'Universalism' has always been viewed as heresy! It just ain't so!

The Partial-Preterist Archive - A wealth of information concerning this prophetic viewpoint, particularly in relation to the fulfillment of prophecy in the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD. I hasten to add that I do not accept the Full-Preterist position, which believes that ALL prophecy was fulfilled by 70 AD - including the Second Advent.

The Athanasian Creed and the Early Church: Clearly Amillennial - A must read for Pre-millennialists.

The Seventy Weeks by Philip Mauro - This book helped to open my eyes to some things in relation to Daniel's seventy weeks and Jesus' Olivet Discourse. Before I read this book, the fog of Dispensationalism had been clouding my understanding, but thankfully I never stop searching for truth.

Fred P. Miller's Homepage - There is a wealth of good historical information here and a couple of online books that highlight the Historicist interpretation of the vision of Revelation. It helps to clear up some of the fog of 'Dispensational interpretation' of prophecy that has become so popular, particularly in relation to modern Israel prophecies. My fresh understanding of some prophetic texts were confirmed to me when I discovered this site.

Apocalypse: The Historicist Interpretation - Another good site on the Historicist interpretation of the book of Revelation, which I believe is a valid way of viewing this incredible vision, if somewhat as a secondary interpretation.

The Early Christian View of The Saviour - A very informative and enlightening article about Universalism in the early centuries of the Church by Gary Amirault (Tentmaker website).

Muhammad: Terrorist or Prophet? - A very detailed article analysing the teachings of Muhammad and the Quran, and the religion of Islam. Extremely enlightening!

An Analytical Study of Words - A good resource book for understanding the real meaning for 'hell,' 'forever and ever,' etc. There is also a list of the Bibles that translate the Greek words aion and aionian more accurately.

Universalism: The Prevailing Doctrine of the Christian Church During Its First Five-Hundred Years - An excellent resource book originally written by J.W. Hanson in 1899. Summary of Conclusions - 31 extremely good reasons for accepting the historical doctrine of Universal Salvation as belonging to the early church.

The Conflict of Ages: A Treatise on the Dichotomy of Military Service and the Kingdom of God - A straightforward consideration of Christian Pacifism, both Biblically and Historically. I totally agree with the author's conclusions. Christians are to be Ambassadors for Christ, and not warriors of the State.

Are today's Jews true Israelites? - This article contains some extremely important and eye-opening information on the origin of modern 'Zionism' and the true facts concerning the genealogy of the majority of 'Jews' today. Fundamentally, I do not agree with the beliefs of the British Israel/Identity movements, but the overall facts in this article are intriguing and thought provoking.

Refuse the Refuse, Anglo-Israelism - This is a thought-provoking article by A. E. Knoch exposing some of the fundamental beliefs of the British Israel movement. I greatly respect the teachings and work of A. E. Knoch above most others, but having said that, this doesn't mean that I agree with him on every point! There are numerous other excellent articles by Knoch on the 'Concordant' website. I no longer accept their 'Ultra-Dispensational' views though.

The Struggle for the Birthright - This is an online book by Dr Stephen E. Jones available on his website God's Kingdom Ministries. This book contains a lot of historical and spiritual information concerning the descendants of Jacob and Esau, and the roots of modern Zionism and the State of Israel. I met Stephen when he was living near Seattle during my visits to the US in 1995-96.

He has been blessed with much knowledge and understanding, especially concerning the Divine Law and Typology. He leans very heavily toward the beliefs of Israel Identity/Manifest Sons/Universal Restoration (though I hate putting people in boxes and giving them labels - sorry Stephen!). I greatly value his knowledge and insight, even though fundamentally, I do not accept the Israel Identity/Manifest Sons movement's core doctrines.

The Judgments of the Divine Law by Dr Stephen E. Jones - This short book shows that God's Kingdom will bring about Universal Restoration in accordance with God's righteousness and love. Included is a very useful chapter looking at the views of some of the 'Early Church Fathers' on human destiny.

Imninalu's 2nd Book - A very interesting book on the subject of Ancient History and Civilization. It deals with the genealogy and migratory movements of the nations from a Biblical perspective, and gives a balanced view on the subject of 'The Lost Tribes of Israel.'
